
Judy and Peter first connected over their love of family
Judy Tiesel-Jensen
Judy has been dual-licensed in Psychology and Marriage & Family Therapy for most of her professional career, and for over 20 years taught graduate students in counseling and therapy programs. Her passion for working with couples soon led to a deeper understanding of the need for many to experience trauma healing. After 30 years in the field, she has often been referred to as a therapist’s therapist.
Peter Jensen
A world-renowned child psychiatrist, Peter is a passionate advocate for children with emotional and behavioral disorders and their families. His major work and research interests include identifying, disseminating, and implementing evidence-based mental health treatments. His career highlights include Associate Director of Child & Adolescent Research at NIMH, Columbia University, Mayo Clinic, and establishing the REACH Institute for training primary care physicians in best practices for children’s mental health.
